To be clear --- Link to Wall Street http://www.linktowallstreet.com has no limitations on numbers of members, groups, postings, connections, or total invitations. We do not monitor rejections, acceptance, number of groups you are on, etc.
However -- LinkedIn at http://www.linkedin.com does restrict group size and we need your help.
LinkedIn has groups, as many of you know. Apparently, LinkedIn limits its groups to 1,000 members on any particular group and then blocks the managers from accepting new members. We have a group on LinkedIn (Link to Wall Street group on LinkedIn) and hit that 1000 mark in less than two weeks last night and became aware of that restriction yesterday. The LinkedIn group directs you to this website.
We know of at least one other group which hit that target and requested and received an increase to 3,000. We have also requested an increase today. However, as of yesterday we have 150 pending requests to join and we cannot act on them (this represents only one day of requests). Yikes! We don't want to stop anyone who requests to join from participating.
If your colleagues, associates, friends, or family applied through LinkedIn for Link to Wall Street and did not receive a confirmation, they are probably caught up in this process. If you learn of anyone in this situation, please let them know that he or she should come directly to this site Link to Wall Street and register http://www.linktowallstreet.com
We regret this inconvenience, and will let you know of any changes to this situation.
Thank you so much for your help. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
